Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) MLA, Angoorlata Deka’s convoy on Monday morning met with an accident at Sonapur College Gate.
The accident occurred when a carrier truck filled with hay-straws suddenly crossed the road and two bodyguards and the driver of the Batadrava constituency MLA were injured. They were immediately rushed to Sonapur Health Centre.
It is to be mentioned that after the accident Angoorlata herself came out of her car and helped in controlling the traffic jam caused due to the accident.
The MLA then returned to her constituency.
