The president of United People’s Party Liberal (UPPL) Pramod Boro stated during a press meet in Guwahati that Bodoland People’s Front (BPF) has embezzled crores of rupees from various schemes, He also said that there is a lot of corruption in BTR led by Hagrama Mohilary.
The UPPL president said, “There is corruption in BTR in the name of the MGNREGA scheme. We want an investigation by the CBI or the NIA. Job card has been not received by the actual beneficiary.”
Boro stated that Hagrama himself is the chairman of the SC Board. He has it in his hand. “Is Hagrama an SC man? Why he didn’t give the post of chairman to the SC people?”, he added.
The response to the illegal possession of firearms in the BTR is amusing. UPPL President Pramod Boro also claimed that UPPL would win 31 seats in the upcoming BTR elections.
