Ensuring a better, cleaner and safe Dhubri in 2021 for the citizens, the Dhubri Police has been working hard and resiliently.
Dhubri Police shared a few ‘Kachra’ of last few weeks:
1. In January month, Dhubri Police Registered more than 40 cases against Illegal Cattle Traders / Smugglers. Arrested more than 18 People, seized above 320 cattle and at least 3 vehicles.
2. Absconding child abuser, Rahman Ali and Abdullah Sk arrested in POCSO cases. Since long they kept avoiding Arrest.
3. Chhotoguma OP conducted a surprise raid in Koimari areas and destroyed around 10,000 Litres of Illicit Liquor (Sulai).
4. Tamarhat PS busted illegal sulai vati at Uttar Kachakhana under Paglahat WP and destroyed about 200 Litres of Sulai (Illegal Liquor) and a huge quantity of materials.
5. Four Teer Bookies caught red-handed by Bilasipara Police: Mahibul Hoque, Julhas Ali, Shiv Sankar Das and Sairuddin Ahmed.
6. Cattle Smuggler Md Ayub Ali of West Gaikhowa, Golakganj was apprehended along with cattle at International Border by Team of Nalia Police Patrol Post.
7. Agomoni PS conducted a surprise raid at Amtola and destroyed 50 Litres Sulai.
8. Six gamblers arrested by Golakganj PS team near Sonahat.
9. Dhubri PS raided Senpara area and arrested two drug peddlers, Raja Debnath and Hamidul Shaikh. Contraband Drug items also recovered.
10. Special Team of Dhubri Police caught Inter-State Criminal, Siba Gwala of Fatapukur, Raiganj, WB, recovered Rs. 1.7 Lakhs from his possession. Police Team chased and arrested him on a busy road after he snatched and tried to run away with the amount.
11. Ranigaj OP raided places at Takimari and Lutapara and destroyed 50 litres Sulai and almost 100Kgs of Sulai making materials.
12. Three gamblers caught red-handed at Dhep Dehpi Bazar by Golakganj PS team.
13. In surprise raids, Tamarhat PS destroyed 100 litres Sulai in Hatidhura areas.
14. Tamarhat PS Patrolling Team caught two Terteri vehicles loaded with illegally felled Sal Timber Logs.
15. Chhotoguma OP raided multiple locations in Koimari and destroyed approx. 11,000 Litres of Sulai.
16. Dhubri PS raided Vidyapara area and apprehended three drug peddlers red-handed.
17. In a late-night chase, OC Gauripur SI Himakshi Nath and TSI Trilochan Das recovered 17 North Indian Cattle to be smuggled to Bangladesh.
18. Tamarhat PS destroyed 100 litres of Sulai in a surprise raid at locations in Paglahat Bazaar.
19. Hasem Khan of Majerchar and Pasan Ali of Falimari, both Dhubri, have been apprehended at Beltola on NH31 while found carrying one Pangolin @ ‘Bonrou’. Matter being that of Wildlife, handed over to Forest Department for further needful action.
20. Tamarhat and Paglahat Police raided multiple locations at Sonahat and destroyed more than 500 litres. Sulai.
21. One Teak (Shagaun) loaded Tractor caught in surprise Naka put up by Gauripur PS.
22. Illegal Sand Mahal located and got closed in Sapatgram.
23. Five gamblers caught at Ironjangala in a midnight Raid by Bazaar Town Out Post under Dhubri PS.
24. Chapar PS caught two Gamblers Red Handed.
25. Agomoni PS also caught two more gamblers red-handed from Bhangaduli.
26. Raid by Golakganj PS and Chhagolia OP at Pokalgi along Assam Bengal border against illegal farming of Opium. Two bighas illegal Opium cultivation identified and destroyed.
27. Dhubri Police destroyed almost 200 litres Sulai in Panchughat area.
28. Yanur Ali of Madhusoulmari caught with contraband drugs and arrested for drug peddling by Gauripur PS after a surprise Raid.
29. Mohibul Hoque of Kounbari arrested by Bilasipara Police at village Kazaikata Pt – 6 for engaging in selling Adhar Cards in lieu of money.
30. Surprise vehicle checking at Chandrakhola by Dhubri PS, violators disciplined and fined Rs. 35,000.
31. Golakganj Police destroyed 50 litres. Sulai (Illicit Liquor) in Bishondoi Chariali area.
32. Four persons arrested; suspected Rhino Horn recovered.
33. Golakganj PS alongwith Chhagolia OP and Halakura PCP conducted vice raids at multiple locations at Pokalagi Pt-4 and destroyed around 8,000 litres of Sulai.
34. Tamarhat PS caught two notorious local cattle thieves.
35. Tamarhat PS caught two ‘Natwarlals’ (Frauds) who came all the way from North Lakhimpur and tried to sell fake gold in Dhubri. 2.5 Kg of fake gold boat seized from their possession.

36. Gauripur PS caught another Mr. Natwarlal (Fraud), Afzal Haque of Dangirchar who tried to cheat people and sell almost 1 Kg fake gold bars.
37. During a surprise naka checking at Molati Khamar Botertol, Shoriful Ali caught with almost 5000 contraband Tablets.
38. Three-person namely arrested by Bilasipara PS for ferrying cattle for smuggling to Bangladesh.
39. Special Team of Dhubri Police in an operation under Sapatgram PS jurisdiction caught Bilasipara gang of Rakhmat Ali of Gowaleswar, Fazor Ali and Sadek Ali Mandalay after a wild chase all across the fields.
40. Chapar PS team led by SDPO Bilasipara, Shri Bhargab Muni Das, APS and OC Chapara PS, SI Pranab Doley detected opium (poppy) cultivation at Dhirerchar Tarangapur under Chapar and found approx two bigha opium (poppy) illegal cultivation. Samples seized and materials destroyed in presence of independent witnesses and Executive Magistrate.
41. 50 litres of illegally picketed liquor destroyed in Gauripur by PS team.
42. Sealed Container caught with around 30 Cattle. It tried to pass off as a normal vehicle carrying biscuits.

43. Tamarhat PS destroyed 150 litres of illicit liquor at Harihat market even on 26th January, Republic Day.
44. One Mobile Snatcher, Hanif Sk of Jhagrapar – III caught red-handed while attempting to snatch Mobile phone at Tistarpar by Dharamshala OP under Dhubri PS.
45. Safiar Rahman of Kalabari, Dotoma, Kokrajhar and Musa Sk of Boruajhar, Bilasipara arrested by Bilasipara PS with a vehicle and illegally sawed vehicle full Teak planks.
46. More than 100 outside state poultry vehicles detected, stopped and pushed back as per guidelines by Health and Veterinary Department.
47. Three Piggery vehicles from the outside state also detected and handed over to the Veterinary Department for lawful action.
48. Drug peddler, Md. Ismail Ali of Chapar arrested by Chapar PS for possessing contrabands with the intention to sell.
49. Lakhiganj IC arrested Mahamud Hassen Faruque of Dumuria – III, Abhaypuri, Bongaigaon for illegal making and distribution of Adhar Cards in lieu of money at Chokpara village area.
50. Acting on a tip-off, one Ananta Kirtonia of North Tokrerchora-I, Golakganj has been apprehended while found preparing Adhar Cards in lieu of money. Adhar Card making equipment recovered and seized from his possession.
51. Three sulai bhatis destroyed with 500 litres of ready Illicit liquor and making materials in Lohajani area by joint teams of Holakganj PS and Halakura PCP.
52. Gauripur PS arrested one Teer Bookie who was not mending ways even after so many raids and arrests in this matter in the District. Anowar Ali arrested and sent to Jail under Anti-Gambling Act.
53. Child Marriage averted by Lakhiganj OP under Bilasipara PS at Chinamari (Tilapara). The victim girl child was from vill- Alipur Duwars Milon Palli (WB).
54. Truck ran over private and police vehicles at Bogribari (Kokrajhar) and Dhubri. Three civilians and one police personnel injured, two vehicles damaged.

55. Two touts fleecing common people at Dhubri Civil Hospital were arrested. Mehbub Alom and Zakir Hussain, both were from Jhagrapar, Dhubri.
