Amid Rangali Bihu, a massive thunderstorm hit Digboy on Friday. Several property got damaged.
A video footage shows that during the storm, more than 30 people came under a Bihu pandal for the shelter. Few minutes later the whole pandal began to fall and people under it started running to save their lives.
According to a native there was no sign of rain as the sky was clear till the afternoon. Suddenly a massive storm hit the town.
“Today’s it’s more about the wind rather than rain”, said the native.
Several cars, roadside huts, electric posts, trees were destroyed by the storm.
