The new government of Assam with Dr Himanta Biswa Sarma as the Chief Minister(CM) will take oath at 12 pm tomorrow (Monday).
Earlier, outgoing CM Sarbananda Sonowal proposed Himanta Biswa Sarma’s name as leader of BJP legislature party paving the way for Sarma to take oath as chief minister of the BJP-AGP-UPPL coalition government.
Assam BJP president and Patacharkuchi MLA Ranjeet Kumar Dass and newly-elected BJP MLA Nandita Garlosa seconded Sarbananda Sonowal’s proposal to nominate Himanta Biswa Sarma as leader of BJP Legislature Party.
