Starting the revolutionary chapter in the state’s education sector, more than 29,000 teachers have been recruited on Friday.
Assam Education Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma attended the appointment letter distribution ceremony held at Sarusajai Stadium, Guwahati. Thousands of teachers who were offering services for more than 25-30 years without any payment will be provincialized.
Chief Minister Sarbananda Sonowal was also present at the distribution ceremony along with other dignitaries.
About 4,267 Educational Institutes and 16,484 teachers will be provincialized in this recruitment process.
