A renowned Assamese actor Gyanendra Pallab Baruah passed away on Thursday morning. The actor was suffering from liver disease and died at his own residence at Hengerabari.
Gyanendra Pallav Baruah left behind his wife RJ Megha, a son and a daughter.
Baruah acted for the very well-known Assamese film “Mon Jai” and many others. He played the role of a ‘friend’ of the lead role which was acted by Zubeen Garg. Baruah also appeared in the popular Assamese serial ‘Anuradha’ alongside zubeen Garg and Navadeep Borgohain.
The Assamese film industry mourned at the sudden demise of the actor.
