Former Assam Chief Minister and senior Congress leader Tarun Gogoi was re-admitted to the Gauhati Medical College and Hospital (GMCH) on Sunday night after he complained of breathing problems.
The Three-time Chief Minister Gogoi is presently in the Intensive Care Unit (ICU).
A Congress spokesperson confirmed the news.
“He is under observation by a team of specialists,” a doctor at the hospital said.
The 85 year old Congress leader was recently discharged from the hospital on October 25 after undergoing treatment for post-COVID-19 complications. Gogoi was earlier admitted to GMCH on August 26 after he had tested positive for COVID-19.
