The Gauhati University on Thursday issued a new academic calendar for the sessions 2020-21 and 2021-22 where it was stated that classes for undergraduate degree courses will start from November 1.
It was mentioned in the academic calendar that the undergraduate and postgraduate admissions will be completed by October 31 and the classes for undergraduate odd semesters in the affiliated colleges and university campus will commence from November
Postgraduate (PG) third-semester classes in affiliated colleges and Gauhati University campus will also start on November 1. While the postgraduate first semester classes will commence November 18.
The semester-end examinations for undergraduate and postgraduate courses would be held between March 8 and March 26 in 2021.
