Marwari hospitals on Saturday has organized a free health check-up camp at Bihdia area of Baihata Chariali, Kamrup (Rural) district.
Senior doctors from Marwari Hospitals, N.N. Sarma and Anisul Choudhary consulted the patients at the camp with almost 150 beneficiaries.
Most of the patients were residents of Baihata Chariali, suffering from fever, cough, body and joint pain, headache, stomach-ache and sugar problems.
The main highlights of the Free Camp were free medicine, free Diabetic screening, free Blood Pressure check-up, free doctor consultation and free weight check-up.
Health camps such as the one organized by Marwari Hospitals always spreads positive impact in the society regarding to their general health condition and hygiene. The hospital’s small effort to reach the society will help in the greater side of the society to become more aware and conscious of diseases and precautions to be taken.
Marwari Hospitals also aims to organize more and more free health camps in near future in different areas of Assam to help patients with free medicine and treatments.
It is to be noted that during the free health camp, the doctors also counselled the beneficiaries on Covid-19 precautions.
