Guwahati’s Lokpriya Gopinath Bordoloi International (LGBI) Airport acquired an International Organisation for Standardisation (ISO) certificate based on a variety of characteristics. The ISO certification was granted following a thorough examination of the quality management system, operational management, and facility development.
“We are proud to achieve the esteemed ISO IMS certification. It reflects that our team have ensured that our quality management system, environmental management system, occupational health and safety management are reliable,” Utpal Baruah, Chief Airport Officer, issued a statement.
Receiving these certificates demonstrates LGBI Airport’s continuous commitment to implementing industrial best practises to manage quality, the environment, and worker health and safety, he noted.
ISO 45001: 2018, ISO 14001: 2015, and ISO 9001: 2015 are worldwide recognised certifications for occupational health and safety management, environmental management system, and quality management system, respectively, in the context of airport operation, management, and development.
