For the first time in history, the Sainik School will allow girls to take admission. The admission form for the 2021-22 academic session was released on Thursday.
Sainik School, Goalpara on Thursday released an advertisement for admission to class VI for both boys and girls and class IX (for boys) for academic session 2021-22.
The school management also informed that the admission will be based on the entrance examination.
It is to be mentioned that Defence Minister Rajnath Singh has approved the proposal for admission of girls in Sainik School with effect from 2021-22.
The entrance examination will be conducted on all India basis by the National Testing Agency (NTA).
Boys and girls between the age of 10-12 years are eligible to apply for class VI AISSEE 2021, however, only boys between 13-15 years old are eligible to apply for class IX.
The admission form for Sainik School, Goalpara will be available in online mode on aissee.nic.in website and the last date to apply for admission is on November 19, 2020.
Admit cards will be made available online from December 23, 2020, and the result of the admission test will be declared in the last week of January 2021.
