Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Guwahati is all set to start a business school ‘IIT Guwahati School of Business’ which will offer MBA courses with admissions starting in January, 2022. Also, the first batch is likely to begin in July, the institute informed.
Students for the MBA programme will be admitted through the Common Admission Test (CAT) 2021.
“The admission to the MBA programme will be in line with the admission process adopted by other IITs offering MBA programmes, with the requirement of opening this programme to prospective applicants who have qualified the Common Admission Test (CAT) 2021,” the institute stated.
Prof. T. G. Sitharam, @DirectorIITG launched the website of the School of Business @IITGuwahati today. Padmashri Dr. Prahlada Rama Rao and Prof. Varadraj B. Bapat, Members of BOG, IITG were also present virtually on the occasion along with others.

The admission process will take place in two stages. In stage 1, candidates will be shortlisted for the personal interview round. The final selection will be made in stage 2 based on personal interview results and a few other parameters.
