Tourism wing of the Ministry of Railways, IRCTC (Indian Railway Catering and Tourism Corporation) has organized Bharat Darshan Tourist Train exclusively to Northern India. The tourist train will be covering all the religious places of tourist interest related to the Hindu deity Ram covering Varanasi- Ayodhya- Pryagraj in the travel plan. Visit to iconic places with historical and religious importance have also been included in the program.
The tourist special train will originate from Agartala on February 23 in evening around 1600 hours with stoppages for passenger boarding and de-boarding at Dhatmanagar- New Karimganj- Badarpur- Guwahati- New Bongaigaon- New Cooch Behar- New Jalpaiguri and Katihar. For passengers of Guwahati, the scheduled stoppage for boarding will be on February 24 morning at 8:15 hours.

Before the boarding, passengers and luggage will be sanitized and all the Covid-19 protocols will be strictly followed. Booked passengers will be provided safety gear including masks and sanitizers.
The Bharat Darshan Tourist Train is currently the most Economy Rail Package Tour in the country. The fare is all-inclusive which comprises an entire train journey by sleeper class, onboard security guards, all fooding (vegetarian), drinking water, escorts and guides, budget accommodation at the place/s of overnight stay, land transportation arrangements, travel insurance.
Passengers can book the ticket for the journey through the IRCTC portal (www.irctctourism.com) from authorized e-ticket and tourism agents of IRCTC with extra payment. Booking can also be done from the Regional Office of IRCTC at Ambari, Guwahati.
