Kaziranga National Park Set To Re-Open From October 21

Kaziranga National Park, the world heritage site of Assam is all set to reopen for visitors from October 21. This can be considered as a relief for tourists as well as for people whose livelihood depends on the park.

Chief Minister Sarbananda Sonowal will be attending the reopening ceremony of the UNESCO World Heritage site. P Shivkumar, the director of the park also informed that the park is all set to start jeep safari in Kohora and Bagori Range.

Earlier Forest Minister of the state Parimal Suklabadya also stated that the park famous for its one-horned rhino will be reopening soon in October-November for visitors and nature lovers.
However, both tourists and staff members will have to follow strict COVID-19 protocols and guidelines aimed at maximum safety for everyone concerned.
COVID guidelines like social distancing frequent sanitization of hands and vehicles will be strictly followed.
