Kaziranga National Park will open to tourists in October with strict guidelines which both the tourists and staff will have to observe at all times. These guidelines are aimed at ensuring the maximum safety of everyone concerned, in view of the COVID-19 pandemic.
Forest Minister of Assam Parimal Suklabaidya said, “Kaziranga National Park and Tiger Reserve is being refueled with mesmerizing beauty again and we will open it very soon for the visitors and nature lovers”.
“We have set new rules and regulations that shall be in accordance with the Centre’s directives”, Suklabaidya added.
The authorities of the Kaziranga National Park and Tiger Reserve are gearing up to re-open the park amidst the resumption of economic activities.
The date of opening of the park will be notified soon according to the ministry.
