When Hamid’s name was called out, it was another patient with a similar name who responded. Hanif Ali was admitted since June 3 and was not tested negative till then. Hamid surprisingly did not respond to the call out. According to Darrang District D.C. Dilip Borah, Hanif was brought back to the hospital on Thursday. It is fortunate that Hanif has also been tested negative on June 11 results. However, this incident caused chaos and panic amid the community.
