Commander-in-Chief of United Liberation Front of Axom-Independent (ULFA-I) Paresh Baruah denied the reports of his nephew Rupok Axom’s death.
Talking to a local news channel, the ULFA-I Chief claimed that Rupok Axom alias Munna Baruah is still missing in the dense forest of Myanmar since October 29. The Chief also stated that Munna is suffering from schizophrenia (a long-term mental disorder) and a team has been deployed in search of him.
Rupok (29) hails from Jerai village of Chabua, Dibrugarh district, and before joining the outfit group in November 2018, he was a junior engineer and doing his training at the Digboi Refinery.
