On Sunday, hundreds of people including singers, film stars, cultural activists, academics, and xatradhikars joined in a march to Rajiv Bhavan and stage a protest demanding the immediate release of Arnab Goswami.
The protest was staged under the Xocheton Nagarik Mancha and was staged against the Indian National Congress (INC) in Maharashtra.
Regarding the protest, Assam Education Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma tweeted, “Hundreds of people led by film stars, singers, cultural activists, academics and xatradhikars under Xocheton Nagarik Mancha joined a march to Rajiv Bhawan in Ghy as a symbolic protest against @INCIndia in #Maharashtra. They demand the immediate release of #ArnabGoswami.”
