The newly constructed building of the Assam Legislative Assembly is ready for use. Chief Minister Sarbananda Sonowal, speaker of Assam Legislative Assembly Hitendra Nath Goswami, and MLAs from the different constituencies visited the newly constructed building on Friday.
The new assembly is located near the present Assembly Secretariat at Dispur.
The assembly of the tenure of the new government will be held in the new building.
Meanwhile, sources report that the last day of the current assembly may also be conducted in the new building.
