KRNC (Koch Rajbongshi National Convention) General Secretary, Biswajit Rai on Friday organized a press conference at Dispur Press Club where he stated that their party will support the candidates of the BJP.
He further stated that KRNC will support not only the 17 candidates of the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) but also the seven candidates of the United People’s Party Liberal (UPPL) at the Bodoland Territorial Council (BTC) elections.
The former All Koch-Rajbongshi Students’ Union (AKRSU) President further stated that KRNC will never offer support to Hagrama Mohilary led BPF (Bodoland People’s Front).
“Our party is in full support of the BTR Accord and the promises made by the BJP government. During the reign of the Hagrama Mohilary led BPF party, BTC has been experiencing severe corruption in government offices.
We fully support the BJP party’s decision to abolish the Village Council Development Committee (VCDC) and conduction of the Panchayat Elections in the BTC areas.
