The Government of Assam on October 22 in a notification issued by the Governor made a partial modification in the COVID-19 Guidelines for organizing Durga Puja.
Earlier in a notification dated October 12, the Health and Family Welfare Departments dated October 12 directed restaurants to remain open till 9 pm. The closing time has now been extended and can remain open till 10:30 pm.
All the other guidelines will remain the same and a copy of the newly revised guideline has been sent to all concerned departments.
