Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Saturday attended a public meeting at Jerenga Pathar in Sivasagar, Assam.
On the eve, Narendra Modi kick-started the state’s largest land patta allotment scheme to over1 lakh indigenous people of the state.
PM Modi distributed a total of 5,045 land pattas and allotment certificates to indigenous people in the Sivasagar district.
Expressing gratitude to Narendra Modi, Finance Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma took to Twitter stating, “Land Pattas to the landless people of Assam is the commitment of the Assam Government under the able leadership of PM Sri @narendramodi
