News Desk: Assam government on Monday effected a reshuffle in the top-level of Assam Police in addition to effecting another massive reshuffle at the rank of Deputy Superintendent of Police.
As per a notification of the state Home Department, K V Singh Deo, Additional Director General of Police (ADGP) TAP, BI(EO), and Prosecution has been substantively posted as ADGP (BIEO) with the additional charge of ADGP (Prosecution).
G P Singh, ADGP (Law and Order), and STF has been relieved of the additional charge of STF and has also been posted as ADGP (Vigilance and Anti-Corruption).
Dr. L R Bishnoi, ADGP (CID) has been transferred and posted as ADGP (TAP).
Hiren Nath, IGP (SB) has also been posted as IGP, STF,
Binod Kumar, IGP (HG & CD) has been transferred as posted as IGP (TAP).
