North-East Democratic Alliance (NEDA) Convenor Dr. Himanta Biswa Sarma while taking part in an election campaign at Khanapara in Guwahati on Tuesday said that Assam Pradesh Congress Committee (APCC) President Ripun Bora can be a Chief Minister in Bangladesh.
“Yesterday all the people in Gohpur said—we will make Ripun Bora CM, but in Bangladesh,” Dr. Sarma said.
In addition, Sarma before the start of the campaign said that it will come to light for whom the Congress party is working.
The Assam health minister further said that BJP’s result in the first phase of the elections will be good. “This time the BJP is irresistible. There is no rival to stand against BJP,” Sarma added.
