Guwahati, 15th June: Six people from the same family have been tested Corona positive. The family belongs to Jonai, a sub-district of Dhemaji district in Assam. The family came from Kerala and were home quarantined since then. A 7 year child is also among the six positive cases.
The COVID-19 cases has been drastically increasing in the State. COVID-19 cases in Assam has already crossed 4000 mark with confirmed cases of 4049.
Meanwhile, in India COVID-19 cases reached 11,502 with a death toll of 325 within 24 hours.
According to the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare, the COVID-19 cases tally reached 3,32,424 and Cured/Discharged tally reached 1,69,797. The death toll in India is now 9520.
