Assam CM Sarbananda Sonowal has ordered a CID probe into the death case of journalist Parag Bhuyan. The journalist was hit by a vehicle on Wednesday near his residence in Tinsukia Kakopathar.

Tinsukia Police said that two persons have been arrested in connection with the case and the vehicle has been seized.
The CID probe order comes after the family members of the deceased, various organizations, political parties, and journalist’s fraternity smelled foul play and demanded a proper probe into the incident.
