A large quantity of stolen equipment belongs to ONGC (Oil and Natural Gas Corporation) were seized by the Sivasagar police on Thursday.
A big amount of stolen tools belonging to the Oil and Pure Fuel Company (ONGC) was seized by Sivasagar police on Thursday.
The equipment were stolen by miscreants from the ONGC Nazira workplace in Sivasagar.
The ONGC Nazira workplace had earlier reported the matter to the police, after which an operation was launched led by Nazira sub-divisional police officer.
The tools included plenty of drilling pipes and a hydraulic packer machine.
The dump yard belongs to an individual named Hamidur Rahman.
