‘inSCIgnis’ is a mega-science festival organized by the School of Sciences of Tezpur University every year on the last week of February. However, due to the unfortunate circumstances in 2020 and the uncertainty of the coronavirus, the science fest will be conducted in online mode this year.
The main aim of ‘inSCIgnis’ is to make students aware that science is much more than mugging up the formulas and answers. It is fun!
Several general and departmental events like quizzes, discussions, experiments, fun games etc are organized during the fest.
Every year schools, colleges and universities from different parts of Assam joins the festival where they are exposed to a new perspective of science through fun events, laboratory works, panel discussions etc.
