News Desk: The Finance and Health Minister of Assam, Himanta Biswa Sarma on July 19 stated that the state government has not banned fresh employment. He criticized the fact that some media reports stated that the Assam government would not provide any more government employments.
Himanta Biswa Sarma clarified that there is no ban on employment in the state. He said that the Government is actually encouraging all the departments to publish fresh recruitment advertise for filling the vacant posts.
In a tweet on July 19, he stated, “Very unhappy with the media report attributed to me that the state govt. will not provide any more Govt. employment. I do not know why some media always fabricate my statement. There is no ban on employment. We are encouraging all departments to advertise and recruit their vacant posts.”
