ULFA deputy-commander-in-chief Dristi Rajkhowa aka Manoj Rabha surrendered in Meghalaya on Wednesday, reports say. The wanted militant is the number two to the ULFA (I) commander-in-chief Paresh Baruah and is very close to Baruah.
It is worth noting that, Rajkhowa had been staying in Meghalaya for quite some time now.
Sources say that Dristi Rajhkhowa surrendered in front of Assam Police officials in Meghalaya.
The ULFA leader is reportedly being brought to Guwahati. The police are yet to make an official statement in this regard.
