The Anchalik Gana Marcha on Friday organized a press meet at their Central Office in Guwahati.
Rajya Sabha Member Ajit Kumar Bhuyan and senior journalist Manjit Mahanta were present in the press meet.
The RS member in the press meet stated, “We have learned our mistakes from the Bihar election, Tejashwi Yadav is now a ‘protagonist’ in Bihar. We must all come together and form an alliance against the BJP government so as to throw them out of the state. No single political party can defeat the BJP government on their own, the ruling party is too powerful now.”
“Only a fool politician or an agent of the BJP would think of fighting against the political party alone, the recent Bihar election is such an example. We all must form a ‘Maha Gatbandhan’ and the Congress party of Assam must take the lead. Till now, Congress party has thought nothing about the great coalition.” the former journalist said.
He also stated that the BJP government has taken the ‘Ajmal Incident’ as their election campaign agenda.
