Assam’s Bablu Rabha among the CRPF Jawans Martyred in Chhattisgarh

CRPF Jawan from Dudhnoi, Assam was martyred on Saturday in an encounter with Maoists in Chhattisgarh in the Bastar region.

The martyred jawan from Assam was identified as Bablu Rabha. He was a member of the elite unit Commando Battalion for Resolute Action (CoBRA).
Assam Chief Minister Sarbananda Sonowal also expressed his grief about the incident.
“Heartfelt tributes to CRPF jawan from Assam’s Dudhnoi, Bablu Rabha, who attained martyrdom while bravely fighting against the Maoists in Chhattisgarh.
The whole nation stands behind the bereaved family of Swahid Bablu Rabha in this hour of extreme grief. My sincere condolences.” CM Sarbananda Sonowal Twitted.

“My thoughts are with the families of those martyred while fighting Maoists in Chhattisgarh. The sacrifices of the brave martyrs will never be forgotten. May the injured recover at the earliest.” PM Narendra Modi also Twitted.

As per recent reports, atleast 20 jawans were martyred and many were reported missing after the Maoist attack.
