In yet another success in its crusade against smuggling activities, 100 Bn BSF under the aegis of Guwahati Frontier of Border Security Force (BSF) conducted specific information based operation and apprehended one Indian narcotics smuggler along with 20 KGs Cannabis on 07th April 2021 from a bordering area of Titultala village, Coochbehar (West Bengal).

Acting on a tiff off, BSF troops of Border outpost (BOP) West Chamta of 100 Bn BSF on 07th April 2021, carried out a special operation close to Indo-Bangladesh border.
At about 1900 hrs, the operation party apprehended 01 Indian smugglers along with 20 KGs Cannabis while the consignments were trying to be smuggled from India to Bangladesh.
Details of apprehended smuggler:
Mintu Rahman (20 Yrs), S/o Serajul Haque, R/o vill R K Poyesthy, PS–Dinhata, Distt- Coochbehar (West Bengal)
The smuggler was handed over to Sitai Police Station along with seized Cannabis for further legal action.
