Assam Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma on Monday reviewed the status of the implementation of BTR (Bodoland Territorial Region) Accord.
BTR CEM Pramod Boro, WPTBC Min. Urkhao Gwra Brahma, Chief Secretary, Executive Members and several other senior officials of the civil and police administration were also present at the review meeting of implementation of BTR Accord.
CM Dr @himantabiswa reviewed the status of implementation of BTR Accord in presence of BTR CEM Sri @PramodBoroBTR, WPTBC Min Sri Urkhao Gwra Brahma, several executive members, Chief Secretary, and other senior officers of civil and police administration.

CM Himanta Biswa Sarma during the meeting discussed means of empowering the Bodoland Territorial Region (BTR).
He also put forward several directives at the review meeting –
• Promote and build social empowerment narrative around Bodofa Upendranath Brahma’s philosophy for Bodo people.
• Reconstitution & renaming of WPTBC as BTC Affairs dept (for BTR).
• Works for Cultural Complex cum Centre of Excellence in the name of Bodofa Upendranath Brahma to be expedited.
• Design training modules for skill development of cadres of the NDFB factions.
• A rehabilitation program for 4,036 NDFB cadres involving Rs. 160 crore.
