Assam Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma issued fresh instructions on fixing the rate for Covid 19 treatment in the private hospitals of the state.
In a review meeting with the Assam Health Department, Himanta Biswa Sarma decided a patient-friendly rates for Covid 19 treatment in general and super-specialty in private hospitals.
“Along with Health Min @keshab_mahanta took stock of #COVID19 management in the state.
To bring positivity and mortality rates further down, Covid patients of any age group with any comorbidity will be kept in institutional quarantine.” CM Himanta Biswa Sarma Twitted.

“Issued instructions to fix the rates for #COVID19 treatment in private hospitals. Affordable rates have been fixed for both general & super-speciality wards.
Also directed officials to ramp up the vaccination process to inoculate maximum people at the earliest.” informed Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma on Twitter.

The Chief Minister has during the review meeting has also directed the State Health Department not to allow home quarantine to Covid 19 patients with co-morbidity.
