CM Himanta Biswa Sarma during foundation laying of Bamboo Industrial Park in Dima Hasao

Assam Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma on Monday laid the foundation stone of Bamboo Industrial Park at Dima Hasao.
The project will be implemented by the Ministry of Development of the North Eastern Region (MDoNER) at a cost of Rs. 50 crores.

On completion, the project will assist a new era in the economy of North-East India. It will also create vast employment opportunities for local youth.
CM Sarma was accompanied by Minister of Water Resources, Pijush Hazarika.
North Cachar Hills Autonomous Council (NCHAC) CEM, Debolal Gorlosa, Karbi Anglong Autonomous Council (KAAC) CEM, Tuliram Ronghang, Halflong MLA Nandita Gorlosa, Chairperson Ranu Langthasa, Dima Hasao DC, Paul Baruah, SP Jayant Singh.

Meanwhile, sharing on Twitter, CM Sarma wrote – “Laid the foundation stone of Bamboo Industrial Park at Manderdisa, Dima Hasao. The Rs 50 cr project will be implemented by @MDoNER_India.
Once completed, the project will usher in a new era in economy of #NorthEast & create vast employment opportunities for local youth.”

“Hon Min @Pijush_hazarika; NCHAC CEM @gorlosadebolal, Chairperson Ranu Langthasa & executive members; KAAC CEM @TuliramRonghang; Hon MLA, Haflong, @GorlosaNandita; Dima Hasao DC Paul Baruah & SP Jayant Singh were also present.” Sarma further informed.
