CM’s Covid-19 widow scheme: Minister Chandra Mohan Patowary distributes cheque

Minister Chandra Mohan Patowary today in the office of DC, Kamrup Metro, disbursed cheques for the fifth and sixth round of the Chief Minister’s Covid-19 Widow Scheme to provide financial assistance to women widowed due to the Covid epidemic. In his speech, the Minister said that the scheme would provide financial security to the families of those who died in the covid 19 pandemic. The Minister also requested the widowed women to be strong and said that Rs 50,000 will be deposited in their banks.
