As many as 25 passengers were found COVID 19 positive at Guwahati Railway Station.
Most of these passengers were from Maharashtra, Karnataka, West Bengal, and other states.
A total of 799 tests were conducted on Thursday and Friday, among them, 15 passengers were found positive on Thursday and 10 were found positive on Friday.
Most of the travelers were from Maharashtra and West Bengal.
On Thursday, 22 passengers were detected Covid-19 positive at Lokpriya Gopinath Bordoloi International (LGBI) airport.
On Friday, Assam recorded 573 fresh Covid-19 cases out of which, 245 cases were from the Kamrup Metro district. A total of four deaths were reported on Friday.
As per NHM Assam Covid-19 Media Bulletin, the state till Friday night has a total of 4,069 active cases.
