The global aid to strengthen India’s fight against Covid 19 continues to be swiftly cleared and sent to all the States and Union Territories.
Government of India (GoI) has been receiving international cooperation of Covid 19 relief medical supplies and equipment since 27th April 2021.
Different countries and organizations have expeditiously dispatched various aids to India.
All these Covid 19 aid have been delivered to the States and Union Territories to supplement their efforts towards Covid 19 management.
As per data provided by Government of India a total of
• 16,530 Oxygen Concentrators
• 15,901 Oxygen Cylinders
• 19 Oxygen Generation Plants
• 11,416 ventilators/ BiPAP
• More than 6.6 Lakh Remdesivir vials
Has been delivered or dispatched through road and air from April 27, 2021 to May 21, 2021.

Effective immediate allocation, and streamlined delivery to the recipient states, Union Territories and institutions is an ongoing exercise.
Union Health Ministry is comprehensively monitoring all the allocations and deliveries on a regular basis. A dedicated ‘Coordination Cell’ has been created in the Union Health Ministry to coordinate the receipt and allocation of foreign Covid 19 relief material.
This dedicated cell started functioning from April 26, 2021.
Further, a Standard Operating Procedure (SOP) has been framed and implemented by the Health Ministry since May 2, 2021.
