In an unexpected turn of events, a Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF) jawan has gone missing.
The CRPF jawan identified as Jayanta Doley was on his way back home from Jammu & Kashmir was reported to have gone missing since Monday.
As per reports, family members of the jawan were unable to contact him since he reached Guwahati on February 22.
The young jawan hails from Maridhansiri Panchayat, Bokakhat, Assam.
According to his wife’s statement, Jayanta’s cell phone has been switched off since he reached Guwahati.
Family members of Jayanta have lodged a missing complaint at the respective police station.
