With the increase in numbers of Covid 19 cases in the Assam, Zaloni Tea Estate under Tingrai Circle in Dibrugarh district has also seen a sudden spike of Covid cases in the last two days.
In the last 48 hours, more than 100 cases have been detected among the tea estate workers. This also includes the hospital staff of Zaloni Tea Estate.
Taking swift action, the District Administration has declared the entire area as a containment zone.
It has also taken a decision to close down the garden for the coming few days until containment of Covid 19 cases in the region.

The District Administration has also urged all the managers to keep strict vigilance on their workers and also to check all the entry and exit points.
