Dr. Jiten Hazarika has been appointed as the Vice-Chancellor in charge of Dibrugarh University by the Governor. Dr. Hazarika was serving as the Registrar of the university. Governor Jagdish Mukhi has appointed Dr. Hajarika as vice-chancellor through a letter. The present vice-chancellor of the university, Dr. Lila Kanta Nath, will retire on January 31.
