Fire in Lakhtakia: Goods worth over Rs 15 lakh destroyed

A fire incident took place in Lakhtakia, Guwahati, today. The fire broke out at a godown near Fakruddin Ali Ahmed Bhavan.
Due to the quick action taken by the fire brigade, the fire was put out, but unfortunately, goods worth nearly Rs 15 lakh were lost in the fire, as reported by the local people. People suspect that the gas cylinder swelled with a light.
