Various issues were discussed in the conference regarding the execution of projects and how to prepare the development roadmap for the State.
Talking to the media at the end of the first session, Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma said, “This is the first meeting with the deputy commissioners of the state after the formation of the new government at Dispur.”
Adding more Sarma said, “We had already held such a meeting with all the superintendents of police at Kaziranga. The next such conference will be a joint one with DCs and SPs.”
However, CM has also informed that every six months, they will hold three meetings – the first with SPs, the second with DCs, and the third with both DCs and SPs. They are planning all the conferences to be done outside Guwahati.
