For the first time in Assam History, the state’s first female finance minister Ajanta Neog is going to present the first State Budget of the 15th Assam Legislative Assembly.
Ahead of the budget Ajanta Neog on Saturday released an e-mail ID and a WhatsApp number seeking advice from the public on the preparation of the budget for the financial year 2021-22.
The e-mail id is [email protected] and the WhatsApp number is 76368-79019.
The Finance Minister, under the leadership of Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma, has announced that a comprehensive budget has been prepared for the benefit of every citizen of the State.
The State Budget for the financial year 2021-22 will be tabled in the Assam Legislative Assembly (ALA) on July 16, 2021.
People in the state will be able to send suggestions on the development issues to be included in the budget through this e-mail and WhatsApp number till July 3.
However, the budget session will commence on July 12 and conclude on August 13, 2021. The session will have 15 working days.
