Former Assam Chief Minister Sarbananda Sonowal on Friday took oath as a Member of the 15th Assam Legislative Assembly.
Pro-tem speaker Phani Bhusan Choudhury administered the sworn-in.
Taking to Twitter, the former state Chief Minister wrote;
“Took oath as a member of the 15th Assam Legislative Assembly. It is my honour to once again serve the people and I promise to work towards building the Assam of our dreams.”

Meanwhile, the oath taking ceremony of the newly elected MLAs is underway.
