Former Chief Justice of India (CJI) Ranjan Gogoi’s mother Shanti Gogoi passed away on Friday morning at a Delhi hospital.
She was not keeping well for many days and was undergoing treatment at a private hospital in Delhi.
She breathed her last in the wee hours today.
Shanti Gogoi was the wife of former Assam Chief Minister Keshab Chandra Gogoi.
She was also a well-known social worker. During the Covid-19 pandemic, she even donated Rs. One lakh to PM-CARES Fund.
