Former Assam Chief Minister and Union Minister Sarbananda Sonowal arrived in Guwahati on Saturday morning for Jan Ashirwad Yatra.
Former CM Sonowal was welcomed by Chief Minister Dr. Himanta Biswa Sarma at the LGBI airport at Borjhar. However, Sonowal was accompanied by Union Minister of State Rameswar Teli.

The Assam unit of BJP will carry out the three-day ‘Axirbaad Yatra’ to welcome Union Minister Sarbananda Sonowal. The program will be held at 18 places across the State during his Yatra from August 21 to August 23.

The Yatra will proceed through the party’s organization districts of Guwahati, Morigaon, Kaliabar, Nagaon, Jorhat, and Sibsagar. It will cover 375.5 km. The Yatra will be held by strictly following the COVID-19 protocols.
