A major re-shuffle in the Assam Police Department, top cop Harmeet Singh was allowed to function as the Commissioner of Police, Guwahati as additional charges.
Meanwhile, Munna Prasad Gupta was substantively posted as Addl. Director-General of Police (CID), Assam and was allowed to function as Commissioner of Police, Guwahati has been transferred and posted as Addl. Director-General of Police (Vigilance & Anti-Corruption), Assam.
Gupta is also allowed to hold the additional charge of Addl. Director-General of Police (Administration and M&L), Assam.
